Payroll Specialist (Dutch Speaker)

One of our clients is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team that is centrally located in Amsterdam. In this position, you are responsible for handling the Payroll for all of the organization’s employees – both internally and outsourced this number combines to 400. You are part of the creation of the Payroll department of my client, making it an exciting challenge where you will use your ideas and experience to ensure success.

Note: this position can be conducted both full-time and part-time (32 hours a week).

Your responsibilities and impact as a Junior Digital Designer will be:

• Monthly preparation of Payroll for around 400 employees ensuring that all employees are paid correctly
• Integration of variable pay elements (bonus, pension, etc.)
• Creation of all payslips
• Communication regarding Payroll with employees

Skills, qualifications, and interests you need to succeed in this role:

• Experience handling Payroll through AFAS
• At least a B2 level of Dutch, and fluent in English
• Knowledge of salary administration and working under various collective bargaining agreements (CAOs)
• Experience handling Payroll for outsourced employees is a plus
• Being an independent worker that knows which colleagues to connect with to ensure success
• People-oriented, good communication skills, stress-resistant, and motivated
